Penntown

Penntown is an unincorporated community in Adams Township, Ripley County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[2]

Penntown was originally called Pennsylvaniaburg, and under the latter name was laid out in 1837.[3] The community was named after Pennsylvania, the native state of a share of the early settlers.[4]

Penntown is located at 39°16′12″N 85°05′51″W  /  39.27000°N 85.09750°W  / 39.27000; -85.09750 .
