Spelterville

Spelterville is an unincorporated community in southwestern Otter Creek Township, Vigo County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[2]

It is part of the Terre Haute metropolitan area.

A post office was established at Spelterville in 1920, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1934.[3] The community was named after the mineral spelter, which was once manufactured in the town.[4]

Spelterville is located at 39°31′40″N 87°23′54″W  /  39.52778°N 87.39833°W  / 39.52778; -87.39833 at an elevation of 512 feet.
